The Writer's of the Future contest is a wonderful opportunity for aspiring writers! There's no entry fee, and the contest administrators are very kind and encouraging. Your work is read by top writers in the field, and best of all, if you achieve an Honorable Mention, you receive a detailed critique from one of the judges (and these really cool certificates). If you place, your work is published in their short story anthology...and you get paid for it. But once you've published professionally, you're no longer eligible to enter. (This was the only thing that saddened me when I made that first pro sale).
BENEATH THE THIRTEEN MOONS received a literary award from the Arizona Author's Association! I was delighted to receive such recognition from hundreds of other novels published in 2003 (the contest is not limited to Arizona authors only...if you'd like to see the the other finalists or enter your own novel, please visit the 'links' page). The announcement appeared in the 2004 Arizona Literary Magazine.

ENCHANTING THE LADY received this award from the Historical Romance Club. My very first award for ETL! I was thrilled!
Realms on our Bookshelves says that: "This is an award only given to those authors who are just starting and to us are such a perfect read, that they alter your world, and add so much to your reading experience making them stand out in their genre." Wow! I was so very honored.
